Access Practice SE - Actions and Triggers available with Zapier integration

Zapier utilises Zaps to create automations. A Zap is a workflow that connects your apps to automate repetitive tasks. It consists of a trigger, which starts the Zap, and one or more actions, which are the events that the Zap performs after it’s triggered.

Triggers:

A trigger is an event that starts a workflow, and an action is an event a Zap performs.

  • Task Assigned

  • Task Started

  • Task Finished

  • Client Created/Updated

  • Contact Created/Updated

Actions:

Actions are the events a Zap performs after it is triggered. Action events will be unique and configured for each app. For Access Practice SE the actions available are:

  • Find Client

  • Add/Update Contact or Client

  • Create/Update Client

  • Start Task

  • Add Recurring Task to Client

Once your Zap is published, Zapier will run your action step(s) each time your trigger event occurs.

You can view a log of all your Zap activity, including all data that goes in and out of each Zap step, in your Zap History.
